An accidental eavesdrop.

You could hear the song of a sweet meadowlark
During Pioneer Days down at Lake Wales Park.
It was time to gather and talk of past days
And speak of how time had changed all our ways.
Two old timers were trading some stories
About fun they’d had and yesterday’s glories.
Did they talk of young girls that slipped from their sack
Or ones they caught that they should have thrown back?
Did they tell each other they weren’t feeling well
Or talk about fearing the hot fires of Hell?
Were they touting the raptures of going to Heaven?
No!  They discussed the merits of the new Windows 7.
