What Should I be for Halloween?

A tough decision to make.

Halloween night is coming soon.

I now have a decision to make.

What costume should I choose?

Any suggestion I will gladly take.

I could be a wicked witch,

maybe carry a magic broom.

I could stir a bubbling brew,

from inside a gloomy room.

Should I be an evil vampire,

with sharp and deadly fangs?

I could roam through the night,

hoping to quench my hunger pangs.

I don’t know which to choose,

but I must make up my mind.

If I just had one moment alone,

then the answer I could find.

Halloween night is exciting. Although we don’t usually dress up here, we celebrate it by watching creepy movies. Nice poem, Darla. Thanks.

A lovely poem. Halloween certainly seems to be popular where you live. I remember dressing my boys up as a zombie and a pumpkin one year. Have a good time whatever you decide on.

On Halloween you can wear anything and no one can say anything to stop you!

I say get those fish net stockings, suspenders and basque out and go as a teasing vamp:-)

I love halloween but sadly they don’t celebrate it here in the U.K like North America does.It is a rarity to see a child go trick or treating or even decorations put up! Great little poem,very creative!
