In the sincerest manner of speaking
In the shadows of that corner
I hear the familiar creaking

I look into your eyes
And fall completely

I feel the warmth from that fireplace
I’m found in the serenity of your embrace

Your touch is soft, your touch is good
So little is said, with volumes understood

You dip me a little in the quiet of the night
Somehow, you remind me
What genuine love is truly like

You hold me in your arms
You remind me to hold tight
You ignite a growing passion for a future
One that shimmers brilliantly bright

It feels natural and complete
It feels safe and warm with you
While wholeheartedly,
Your colors remain loyal and true

I shake a little in your presence
It’s been so long since
I’ve been near such purity of spirit
Such unabashed innocence

My heart beat grows stronger
My vision of happiness longer

I may be far away
But, I can feel you more often
In the simple moments of my day

You speak to me in dreams
You whisper that everything
Will always be okay
You wash away my worries
With every smile and look my way

So now, I ask of you, my love
Please take life’s journey with me
Head out toward the horizon fearlessly

With you, sweetheart
My heart can’t help, but soar and sing
Together, let’s see what tomorrow brings!
