This poem was inspired by actually forgetting that I was looking for my pills.

This morn I was
Beginning to have a headache
I turned to my desk
To find my pills
Just to  realize
That I had forgotten
What I was looking for
Rubbing my head
Wondering what I had forgotten
Trying to remember
Blaming my headache
For making me forget
What I wanted to do

You sound just like me Milton, only I put it down to the creeping on of old age. I loved the poem.

I’ve been known to forget what I’m looking for at times too. That can be annoying and really bugs me.
