May be our lot to sacrifice-
The lot that fell on Jesus.
And if we aim to be like Him,Then nothing less should please us!
He gave His Life on Calvary,
Our eternal souls to save,
And we should always ready be,
To serve with what He gave!
May be our lot to suffer;
He’ll not ask a higher price
Than He knows that we can handle,
When called to sacrifice.
But we should always willing be,
To serve Him with our life!
Our sufferings may vary,
But His Grace will still be there.
He just asks us to be willing
Our lives with Him to share,
And to cast on Him our care!
Yes, cast your care and not your blame-There are no accidents.
Just trust in Jesus’ Name,
And in His great Providence!
For He’ll provide and asks of us,
In His precious Name and Word
To put our confidence, faith and trust!
