Poem.

When I am 80 years old

I’ll be a bum

wearing a red hat, a green shirt

and a purple pant

No money, no worries, no plan,

no future. That is freedom.

I’ll go everywhere I can go

I may be fragile

as my health will be frail

but I’ll go anywhere and everywhere

I’ll go as far as I can go

I ‘ll die on the road

I’ll have

no money and yet no worries

no plan and no future

Oh! that is freedom.

People will look at me and said:

“look at that old woman,

with a red hat, a green shirt

and a purple pant

She is so weird, she may be a bum”

I’ll look at them and gracefully smile

and acceptance.

I’ll keep go on my road

no plan, no future

Oh! that is freedom.

I may have to start to wear

a red hat, a green shirt

and a purple pant

In case I won’t make to the year

I can be a bum
