Feel free to use this poem as an example. I wrote it when I was in middle school.

When I get to be a Programmer

When I get to be a programmer,

I’ll be working with computers,

Software and code too,

And be around geeks and nerds,

The sent of plastic, new plastic,

As well as my own business,

Hearing the “error” message getting me mad,

The buzzing of monitors and CPUs,

I’ll be working on the intense graphic that’ll make your eyes fly to the sky,

Most importantly of all,

My keyboard clicking,

And working away until something’s done right,

Stroke by stroke,

The sun will never be around when I am,

Nor will the moon,

Darkness is the thing I love,

When I get to be a programmer,

Nothing will stand in my way,

For when I get the job,

This will be the day.
