A poem dedicated to my wife.

When I hold your hand,

It isn’t just for show.

It actually means more

Than you probably know.

It’s a sign of respect

Because I believe in respecting my woman.

But, if you ever need it,

It is a reminder that I’m there to be a crutch for you to lean on.

By holding your hand,

I’m showing you I’m proud to have you as my wife.

And, most importantly,

I want to be with you for the rest of my life.

I’m a man of very few words

But do say “I love you” quite regularly.

And, when it comes to those three words

Holding your hand shows I mean them sincerely.
