When I Look at The Flag

This is a poem, that shows my belief in my country for the United States of America.

When I Look At the Flag

When I look at the flag,

It reminds me of you.

You fought for this country

With pride and hope

You protected this land

With compassion and love.

You never gave up

Even when every was hopeless.

When you fought,

You had a reason,

You cried

Because you missed your love ones.

When you came home,

Everyone was in tears,

Hugging and praising

Is what they did.

When I look at the flag,

It reminds me of you.

I am not from the USA but if i had to support a country other than my own it would be the USA. A good article.

I liked it, except for the line “Even when every was hopeless”. I assume you were trying to say “everyone”. Otherwise, very well done.
