I walked into the room, and it hit me right away
The vulnerability i possess in a situation like this mess

As I approached so timidly, time stood still

I pulled back the veil

What it was meant to be
Ironically is around us, lingering

the majesty of everything encompassed

The beauty was beheld in our surroundings
Yet the miracle of living life
is lost on such inanimate objects

Though clarity came late in that moment

The abeyance of the mortal coil
to time’s harbinger and the elite messenger
that took and delivered
you to the far off fields of sanctity

Rings in my ears
