A poem.

When Night Time Comes

Darkness falls upon the night.

The light fades as stars take flight.

The moon casts shadows upon the land.

As bats take flight and luna moths dance.

The world becomes a different place.

All is covered in black lace.

The velvety touch of night has come,

As frogs and crickets begin to hum.

The night has come to life you see,

As owls hoot their freedom just to be.

Alive and well in a nocturnal world,

Free to roam ’til day unfurls.
