When the Black Witch Flies
19 March 2011

Previous Black Witch poem: Mystic Wrinkle

Run young girls
The moon is full tonight
You don’t want to lose your souls
All should be in their beds sweet tight
When out the Black Witch Flies this night

Virgin girls
She seeks your soft white flesh
She’ll boil you in her cauldron
Your bones she hangs upon the mesh 8
Spells and tells mix in with your flesh

Two young boys
Climb up to her castle rock
They are so easily caught
Their brains now lay in old hexed bowls
Under her command are their souls

Walking boys
Seek out the fairest maidens
Betraying who they do find
Seducing girls under moon light
When out the Black Witch Flies this night

Run young girls
Your flesh is her desire
Your youth and life are her fire
All should be in their beds sweet tight
When out the Black Witch Flies this night
