Snowfall brings cold and the new prez brings warmth.

Its bitter, bitter winter this year,
The snow falls each and every year.
Now it’s so, so very, very cold,
Not like earlier year’s, we were told.

There has to be a change.
As the US President,
The new one says,
He will emerge from recession,
Simply by his intelligence and concession

Our economy will and must improve,
The new President has this to prove.

The first state guest dinner abroad,
In Canada he has promised too.
Glad we have a real fine guest,
Cross our fingers and hope for the best.
So also he will help revive,
The Canadian loony must survive.

And when he comes around,
In Canada on his maiden visit is found.
We wish a warm welcome for him,
So keep abreast and your faces trim.

He promises to our normalcy restore,
Fear not we will cross the border as before.
No visa, no restrictions we only wish,
These concessions to us he does dish.

USA and Canada will be normal friends again,
Hopefully for ever we shall always, so remain.

It’s our only and everlasting hope…..
