When the Time is Right

Have you found new love like me?

Fresh, new love that feels just right

and you know it is the real thing.

Spending time together, learning about each other,

and loving being in each others company.

Sharing our thoughts, talking about

our histories.

Learning each others likes and dislikes.

Loving each other, kissing, hugging

and passionate loving.

All brand new and it needs time

to grow and become stronger.

And sometimes you want things to happen

and progress, but take things slow

and be patient.

And if it is truly meant to be

someday

some exciting new things will happen.

It’s always exciting to build

a life together,

thoughts of sharing a home together

and moving in with each other.

Those are great thoughts

but it is also a big step

and should be taken

slow

and someday

you will be there.

New love takes time

to get to know each other

and someday

when the time is right

it will happen

if it is truly meant to be.
