When the winter comes I’ll be alive with life anyway
Though the leaves are dead and blown away
Trashed, thrown away from decay
All from the cycle of live and die
I love the winter days, they are cold but I don’t care
I look out my window and see the snow and stare
Can’t go out when it’s so cold and when the winds blare
All from the cycle of live and die
I dress a little warmer, long johns on my legs,
Warm socks and boots don my frozen pegs
Hat, scarf and mittens on my way to Meg’s
All from the cycle of live and die
This is God’s way, I don’t ask why
I’m blessed from the start from the beautiful sky
All in the blink of a watchful eye
All from the cycle of live and die
