This poem contains my childhood memories when we were in our village.
When we were little
We would light lantern
And study around together.
The eyes brighter than the lantern;
The letters brighter than the eyes.
We would track
The way in the letters
When we were little
We would make
Our eyes like the moon
And, pick up the empty pitchers with care.
The rifts emptier than the pitchers
Our hearts deeper than the rifts.
We would fill the empty pitchers
In the well of our hearts.
When we were little
We had travelling hearts
With scores of trails of possibilities.
We know not, where
Our travelling hearts
And the scores of trails
Have ended today.
