Learning to let go can be the hardest thing to do.

You’re the prettiest perfection,

When you’re heading in my direction,

But you’re bitter sweet sorrow

When you walk away.

When I can see the smile on your face,

I know I’m in God’s good grace.

But it tears me up inside,

When you walk away.

For when you walk away,

My world’s a shade

Of cloudy grey,

And I want to kick myself hard,

For letting you walk away.

But I know in my heart,

Why we must part,

That’s why I always let you,

Walk away.

it’s painful when there is a conflict between your inside and outside. inside says: stay. outside which represents reality says: have to go.

Know that feeling. It feels like the world around suddenly crumbles
