Sometimes the desire to make love leaves either the woman or man. It is not like it used to be. We try every way we can to find the passion again. Here is such a case and would be a bit funny if it wasn’t such a heart ache.
In the middle of June
She would like to cuddle and spoon
But it’s too hot
He would rather not
In the middle of the night
She would like to hold him tight
But he’s not in the mood
He’d rather have some food
In the middle of the day
She has loving things to say
But he needs to mow the grass
And go catch some bass
In the evening when the sun goes down
She puts on her lovely silk gown
But there’s a movie he wants to view
He wants her to find something to do
Later after it is dark
She wants to try to light a spark
But he’s really tired and sleepy
She is beginning to think he’s really creepy
So she goes to do her thing
Looking with regret at her wedding ring
On the pillows he lays his head
And falls asleep fast upon his bed
Still wide awake she goes to her room
Setting alone in her gloom
She goes to the computer, talks to a friend
Wondering when this cold war will end
