Sometimes it is hard to understand how two people can burn for each other with fierce intensity, and then in the blink of an eye the love just goes away.

I thought our first kiss would last forever,

We went from parting lips to parting ways,
Speaking about our future,
To having nothing to say.
Did I stop loving you,
Or did you stop loving me,
When did we start feeling trapped,
Yearning to be free.
I thought I was giving my all,
Was my all not enough,
When did saying “I Love You” and meaning it,
Become so tough.
We used to make love all night long,
Held each other till the crack of dawn.
Speaking about love and life
Like it was the lyrics to our favorite song,
So tell me
