A second glance at me.

 my mental tears fall as,
rapid as niagra falls running water,
crashing down hard
on our sons and daughters
DEAR LORD
I look around and,
 as i roam this place
I feel lost, tell me
is this some kinda mistake
wheres my happy home
where do i fit in
i am surrounded by criminal minds
elevating the game
drug dealers, in the ghetto
doing the same
 searching for fame
killing for minimum wages
taxing lives,
in multiple stages
and in reality
what do they gain
cause hear i sit
vaulted in pain
DEAR LORD
do these feelings ever release
cause i am ready to know
before i am deceased..
where do i fit in

We’re all exiles here Richard – I don’t suppose any of us really fit in, not in this life.

Wow…lots of mixed emotions for me on this one. Very well put though. I\’m sure many people ask the same questions.

You fit in wherever your feet are standing. It’s your ground, claim it. I claim every step I take as Kingdom ground. It’s mine!

Great poem with bare laid passion.
