A poem about reality.

Where is she now, I wonder;
Is she thinking of me?
Does she fear I am to die,
As I drink from eternity?

I close my eyes and try to dream,
Of a truly wonderful thought.
I then retrieve it from my mind,
As a coffin from the ground is brought.

The tomb is eagerly opened,
The casket creaks-a chilling sound-
But I look inside, and to my surprise,
My dream is nowhere to be found!

Why can’t my dream come true,
My wonderful thought be realized?
It was lost somewhere in transit,
Between the real and fantasized.
