We can all relate to this poem.
As you close your eyes,
images and symbols,
come alive on the subconscious screen.
Thoughts and things collide in the dream stream.
But alas my heart takes me back.
To a place that’s dismal and black.
Shrouded in cowardice,
exposed to prying eyes.
What awaits the dreamer,
whom dreams these dreams?
It’s up to the vessel,
who lies fast asleep.
