How often we look at others and what their life seems to be and wish our life was just like theirs or better. We envy them. Truth is, the grass is seldom greener on the other side of the fence. Read more…

WHERE THE GRASS IS GREENER

The grass at times looks greener

in someone else’s yard.

Life is almost never easy.

Life is sometimes really hard.

Gossip can be scorching.

Our fears can turn us cold as ice

and other lives, from a distant view,

can look refreshing, very nice

and we start to envy, maybe wish we

were living on the other side

where life seems greener, somehow better

than where is that we abide…

But we don’t know what truly grows there

‘til we’ve walked in their shoes

and what seems greener than what we have,

if we really saw the truth,

may only be false pretense,

no more than just a ruse.

We can make our own grass greener

by sprucing up our own back yard.

God never said life would be easy.

Fact is, life can be burdensome and hard

when we don’t think before we act,

use plain, good old common sense,

waste the blessings that we have;

we’re sure to pay the consequence.

Don’t envy, lust; or give up and be a quitter.

That is not the way to go.

We can all find greener pastures

but we’ll reap just what we sow.

When we put our faith and trust in God,

we’ll be amazed, how green our grass will grow.

When we’re glad for what we do have

and do the best that we can do,

and then leave the rest in God’s hands

God will surely see us through

and He will lead us to green pastures

though the way at times seems hard;

we’ll be amazed, when we trust God,

how green the grass is in our yard.

Another’s yard may sure look greener

but if we really saw the truth,

it may only be false pretense,

no more than just a ruse…

So don’t waste your life with envy.

Spruce up your own back yard.

Truth is, we all have our own troubles

and life, for each of us, sometimes is hard.

We’ll find the grass is seldom greener

once we have jumped that fence

and when we greed for what’s not ours

we’ll pay the consequence.

So don’t envy, lust; or give up and be a quitter.

That is not the way to go.

We can all find greener pastures

but we’ll reap just what we sow.

    Well, well, well.
Every actions must be paid with some kind of reactions,
    For good deeds-
    good ones
    and for bad-
    Wait for God -
    To decide!
