A short poem about the sereneness of laying on the Earth.
Little did I know?
Where upon the Earth I fell
Becometh young from old
From the green in which I lay
As looking through the mist up high
About the myths foretold
The silluettes above
Underneath the Sun so hot
Spiralling in the heat
Did I dream the sound they made?
Where upon the Earth I lay
With the sense of unplace
Way beneath the ground we’re told
Where the Earth is always warm
Are treasures never found?
After our very dying day
Where upon the Earth we lay
We’ll wear that golden shroud
Lay me down to sleep
Where upon the Earth I fell
Becometh young from old
Please let me close me eyes
Eternal peace in my mind
To hear all the myths foretold
