A descriptive poem about anxiety.

(image from photobucket)

high intensity
anxiety
wrought  knots
of confusion
uncertainty of
what comes next
never the same
unwelcome
hatred
that consumes
my every
breath
forever left
wondering
what turn to
take next
control
unwilling to
give in
to me
fights against
every
restraint
ignoring my
complaint
stranglehold
suffocation
not sure
which peace
to run to
to outrun
anhilation
or
whether or
not it
will even
work
leads to a
consumation
aggravation
of my very
presence
uncaring
unrelenting
fighting against
my very will
which has tried
to win
many times
but hasnt
found the
key

My sweet Sheila. Once again you have mezmorized me and pretty much taken my breath away. You know you have nailed anxiety to a tee, when you can make the reader feel anxious! Another gem!
