This poem deals with a person in confusion about which path he should take regarding his relationship with his lover and the one with his friend who is perfect for him.
I’m wrong if I don’t, wrong if I do
What is the answer to this decision I’m faced with cause I have no clue
My love for her verses my infatuation with you
Is very similar to that of a Catch 22
She is everything I want in a wife
And you are everything I need in my life
My confusion lies deep
On what I should do, I dare not speak
My brain thinks smart while my heart feels freely
Conflict always occurs because the two never agree
Be true to thyself says Shakespeare
So what is it I’m suppose to do here
An easy decision of 80/20
Has turned into an intricate decision of 50/50
I’m not wanting to leave her, but not wanting to hurt you
