It’s never too late to let our mothers feel that we love them.
So am I with my work
But I have something in mind that I want to do alone with you…
I want to
roam around the country
push a mountainous shopping cart
read and discuss bible verses
make my belly burst in the food court
laugh, cry, frown, sigh, be scared in the theatre
I want to do some things
For you…
I want to
have a big house
pluck your itchy grey hair
face the rumor mongers who slander you
support my younger sibling’s education
I want to do some things
Behind you…
I want to weep for all my disobedience and filial guilt
wish that you had not let me get away with my troubles unpunished
pray that you won’t stop realizing you are so important to me.
