While you were on long leave

Your desk was maintained sparkling and clean

The cleaning aunty came in to clean daily

Not a bit of dirt or dust you will ever see

While you were on long leave

Many jobs were still pending

When you are back you will see

Many to-do notes written clearly

While you were on long leave

No one dare to touch your belongings

They were protected and wrapped nicely

To prevent others intruding to your privacy

While you were on long leave

Some nice colleagues really creative

They decorated your cubicle very pretty

You will be delighted as if having party

While you were on long leave

Some thought this desk belonged to a sweet lady

They decorated them with flowers beautifully

I wonder is there any more space that’s empty

While you were on long leave

Some inconsiderate people really very mean

They thought your place was a dump yard, could dump freely

Foams from boxes were dumped to your area without mercy

While you were on long leave

We really missed you badly

One day was like a decade, we were in misery

People aged rapidly, and so was the keyboard of your PC
