When our guilty thoughts sneak out.
The house is quiet
Yet I hear the walls whisper
The floors creak their opinions
I sit so quietly so I won’t be seen
But that is just a thinking error
The house knows all
I cannot hide secrets here
Nightly they tease me to tears
There is no running from sin committed
Even the windows have witnessed my wrong
I only hope that I won’t go mad
Before the return of the sun
