The magic of nature when she creates a snow storm.

White horses came and danced forme.
In the still of the night
when all was still
Nature played her artistic game.
I sat with arms around body tight
and gazed across the fields so white
I heard the wind howl its winter song,
and saw a moon as crescent hung.
The sky was painted deep prussian blue,
the softest velvet.
God’s tiny lanterns shining through
Winter took her deepest breaths,
And blew white diamonds across driven depths,
White horses came and danced for me.
Tossing long manes and tails all around,
Pounding their hooves on hard frozen ground,
Snorting their joy in the cold icy air,
I sat so still and in wonder did stare,
And wishes my loves and all could see,
White horses came and danced for me.
