A friend I once adored…

Whither my friend

Whither my friend,

Of dark solitude,

Of loneliness,

A one-time blessing.

Whither my friend,

Of the unknown mind,

Who loved my blessing?

Whither my friend,

In the long lost caves,

Of unearthing,

Fathomless thoughts,

Have you ever again,

My dearest friend of me,

Ever thought.

Down lonely ravines,

You leave me alone,

As I moan,

None comes forth,

Not any one else,

Leave you alone.

Where, whither my friend,

In the darkest forests,

Of this worldly imagination,

Have you been lost?

To an archaic times.

Well just tell me once,

Only once,

Can I a friend,

Like you ever again,

Find ere my end.

The intertwining lanes of memory,

Keep winding,

Down the cobwebbed memory lanes,

Of my mind,

I keep finding.

Another friend like you,

Without,

Just tell me how can I do,

With you or without,

That will for certain,

Clear my doubt.

Oh human friend,

Can I live alone?

With or you without.

That was one stellar piece of work…a beautiful poem and a wonderful way to start the day. Write some more like this one.
