About life.

Body and soul live the life,
But I intake the mortal half
When it’s time to pay the ultimate price.
I am sacred, I am loveless, I am hateless,
I don’t believe in Satan, so I’ll have to be an atheist.
I lay cold and still for acres around,
I send chills through all whom enter my ground.
The sound is silence until broken with cries,
Reminded, they touch me with tears from their eyes.
They multiply, they come in by the dozens,
Everyone is so shaky except those who were summoned.
Before they arrive, there’s no certain time,
Some of them come early, some grow to be wise,
Some want to be here, some don’t want to die.
Some died in honor, some died in pain,
Some died in peace, some were slain.
Some are here out of love, some out of hate,
All different walks of life, but I am the place where they share the same fate.
