Who Eventually Won? This poem is about killing. The poem is my entry to Writing Challenge Round 26 organized by Triond fellow member Duff D Moss. Challenged words are radioactive material & hemlock. Hope you enjoy it.

Who Eventually Won?

A plane roaring its way in the gloomy sky,
Church bells ringing very far away,
A crow crying loud and keeping a sharp eye,
An explosion high up wended its own way.

Radioactive material poured down,
All ready to show his great killing power.
Hemlock stood herself calm on a bare ground.
He and she united in a half hour.

A child came, picked a leaf, and whistled away.
He puffed up his killing ability.
She sneered at him in her own usual way.
Who have the overwhelming authority?

A sudden force buried him and her deep down.
The very same whistle came to their new town.
