Poem about the current state of the world, ends with the famous john lennon line "give peace a chance"

When Justice is getting trampled in the market square

Everyone pulls out their camera phones!!

Truth His wife begs for a shoulder to lean on

Pimps came to her rescue? So it seems

Harmony, their Child is dying of cancer

But instead of chemotherapy

She’s offered a haircut and a boob job, half price!

Since she won’t last, they can have the silicone back.

She’s the last in Line of the egalitarians

How wonderful and pleasant is she

Precious and refreshing is the sight of her

With the very last of her breath

She brought forth peace

Gave her life, a name, an existence

Her existence like the ones before is threatened

So while suffering runs riot

A man and woman stand on a Hill, Asking

Who killed the egalitarians?

Well, you did?

Each time to turn your back on your neighbour

You’re lunging double edged swords into hearts

Justice, Truth and Harmony have died slowly

Please give peace a Chance.

“Each time to turn your back on your neighbour
You’re lunging double edged swords into hearts”

And when the world is no longer neighbourly…

“Justice, Truth and Harmony” is dead.

Justice, truth and harmony are indeed the main ingredients to peace. A thoughtful piece. Thanks.
