An expert essay regarding the type of person who is capable of murder.
There are a few other mental aspects to the profile of a serial killer. IQ comes into account very frequently. A very small portion of serial killers fall within the range of “Average” IQ (80-120), but are either in the “below average” or “above average” zones. As many serial killers as ones dull enough to be considered “retarded” could be considered “geniuses”. The fragile and imperfect growth of one’s mind is never reflective of their intelligence level. Serial killer Dennis Nilsen is considered to be one of the most intelligent serial murderers. After he was caught by police and pled guilty to a few, he actually gave police tips on how to identify the bodies of some of his victims, showing an extensive knowledge of dental reconstruction and bone fragmentation DNA.
In conclusion, it’s clear that to predict a serial killer before his or her first murder would be virtually impossible without some future-seeing skills, but the life of a serial killer does appear to be oddly mathematic. The world of a murderer is mathematic not like addition, but like algebra. Find the correct (or incorrect) values for X, Y, and Z, and you may find yourself with the answer yes to the question can you predict who will kill?
