The speakers stand elegantly,
Betraying their power.
They quietly sing to me.
The music stops.
A new song.
A heavier beat.
I turn up.
The bass pounds.
Dust dissipates, pulse quickens,
Foot is forced to the beat.
Music has more power than it should.
The speakers show their colors.
