Starts off hard but ends sensitive.

Why would I come back after stealing your heart

In that dark night when you were alone

I didn’t steal it to keep it but to lure you to me

You’ll die without me if you don’t come and get it back

What are you waiting for

You need me to live

I hold your heart in my hands

And when I gently squeeze you cry at night

Don’t worry, I keep it in a safe place

So it won’t break

A gem in jewelry box

My prized possession

Kept on me like it’s a ticket to heaven

So if anything happens

An angle will greet me

Baby I know you’re hurting

Why won’t you come see me

I have your heart

You can’t move on without this

Don’t be heartless

Baby you can have this

I don’t even want this

A gift from within me

That speedily beats when you touch me

I’ll keep your heart forever

But I want you to have mine

Love for love

Feelings for each other intertwined
