The beauty in diversity.
Why can’t we be friends, on this universe we share
celebrate the beauty of all, not just the fair
For we are part of nature from her we take are cue, one without the other simply will not do
Whitest snow of winter, without the midnight sky, can no way be as pleasing to the human eye.
The kaleidoscope of color that comes with every fall
is beauty found in only one or the mixing of them all
Like golden rays of sunlight against the bright blue sky,
That morphs into a sunset who’s wonder makes you cry
Colors of spring flowers when they bloom anew
Do we see the beauty? In all or just a few
Why can’t we be friends to stand against the winds,
As the mountains do for valleys and those that dwell within
Why can’t we make a circle as from ocean to the streams that
bring the rains to cleanse the earth to wash away old things.
Why can’t we embrace the difference of all those that be
Is not the tree more beautiful with all the shades of green
Why can’t we be friends and learn to get along,
True beauty comes with knowing that we all belong.
