the way your arms felt when its wrapped around me.

how you lips felt when you kissed me softly.

The way your voice travelled through my ears when you whispered to me.

I only wish I could remember,

How your skin felt when I stroked you smooth face. 

Why cant I remember the song of your heart beat?

Why cant I remember the colour of your eyes or the texture of your hair?

You’ve been away for too long, my memories of being in your arms has been erased. 

The memories of kissing your soft lips,

stroking your smooth face,

Listening to your whispers has been all washed away. 

But the day you return the smell of your presence and the song of your heart beat will refresh my memory.
