Missing a loved one.

I cannot get you out of my mind,
you haunt me both day and night.
I remember every moment with you,
to my life you brought much delight.
One day you suddenly disappeared,
our time together came to an end.
I thought we would never be apart,
you were more than just a friend.
I miss your gentle but sensual kiss,
the caress of your large brown hands.
I miss your fingers touching my hair,
lightly stroking the soft silky strands.
I crave your body pressed to mine,
while holding me in a warm embrace.
I wish you were here next to me,
I miss your handsome smiling face.
My heart is shattered and broken.
Why did you have to go away?
I need you back here in my arms.
When will you return home to stay?
