Why do I miss you ?

I was told it’s because I still love you.

But is it really love when all I try to do is please you and not myself !?

Maybe it was your smile

Or maybe the way you approached me

Or maybe the way you talked to me

Or maybe it was the way you listened to me when I was complaining

Or maybe was it your wise words that I usually avoid because you only spoke the truth

Or maybe was it the way you touched me

Or maybe was it because i really did love you

Love you with my heart, soul,and body

It’s unfortunate that the friendship had to go down the drain along with the lost love

Now all that is left of you

Words that I unknowingly hang on to not wanting to let them go

Words that flew out smoothly full of wisdom
