Schooled in academia, but with no tolerance for truth and reason, what do our schools give us?

WHY DO YOU NOT LISTEN?

Don’t lean upon your green laurels,

You men of learning so renowned,

You finished written and orals,

Can’t help but put someone down;

With your writ of fine pedigree,

Diploma stain stuck on the wall,

Your reason has reached apogee,

Farthest from the truth as you fall;

Why can’t you hear voice of concern?

The plaintive cry of good reason,

Do your vestments mean that you burn,

If you do give in this season?

    Some teachers care… my son is a Music teacher and cares about his students education… I’m not saying this because i’m his mother… it shows in his pride and work.
    There are some good teachers and schools:)

    Your poem is expressive with some good points… some schools need to listen and care for the welfare of their students!
    Thanks for the share!
