Why did Jesus have to come into the world?

I stood there watching

as people were hurting.

I felt their pain,

shared in their grief,

and drank in their despair.

With every painful throb

of a broken heart,

my own heart was crushed;

with every anguished cry I heard,

my ears were shattered

with every desperate face I saw,

my spirit was wrenched.

Yet I kept on watching

and listening -

unable to turn away

from the sorrows and miseries before me.

I needed to decide

either to help or to turn away

I had a choice, you know,

to shun those images and cries

and to simply forget about them.

But that’s NOT my nature.

I wanted to reach out

and save you

from your desolation,

as LOVE is my essence,

and I had the power, you know,

and I know

that nobody can do it,

except ME.

So I had to enter your world

to be in your midst.

I needed to be one of you

to let you know I’m here.

I knocked on your doors.

But only a few have let me in,

accepted my gift,

and made me a part of their lives.

Some of you have chosen

to ignore me and my words;

and many of you have even

degraded me, mocked me,

and deliberately rejected me.

Yet, as some of you

may have found out by now,

I’m neither easily deterred,

nor instantly discouraged.

I don’t give up.

I am persistent.

I will wait till the last moment

of your life.

I will relentlessly pursue you,

as it is my desire

to let you experience

real joy, divine peace,

unconditional love,

and eternal life,

which I, and ONLY I,

can give.

To those who’ve done so,

I will remain faithful.

To those who haven’t yet,

I will stay obstinate

in my stand to make you mine

as I designed it to be,

even before the world began.

That’s why I had to come.

That’s why I had to leave my throne

because I wanted

to take you with me -

that where I am,

there you may be also.

    hang on a minute…

god gives man and a rib-woman a rule they cant follow in a garden no-one can find, allows a snake to trick them, gets angry when they break it, kills countless people because they will not follow him then makes himself into a man and speaks in riddles before being sacrificed to himself so those he was angry with could get away with it. doesn’t make a lot of sense does it?

how about you ditch the myths, do the math and examine the evidence.

Glory, Glory, Glory, you made the devil mad with your praises to the King of truth. That tells me you did a perfect job. Keep on going. Nice job!

    AC

Are you suggesting that I am the Devil? I see that you didnt answer my objections but rather resorted to judging me as the spawn of satan whilst reinforcing your own beliefs. Did you learn that from Jesus?

A compelling thought about Jesus’ essence to our lives. Well done, kabayan.
