Odysseus is a great leader because he does many things to protect his men.

I think Odysseus is a great leader. In the Odyssey by homer, Odysseus does whatever he can to protect his men. The story Cyclops, Odysseus doesn’t know what to do when the Cyclops is eating his men every day, but than he finds a plan and saves his men when they are in danger. Odysseus is a good leader because he has so much courage to lie to the Cyclops shown on phrase 295. He tells the Cyclops his name is ‘nohbody and he figures out a plan to get out of the cave. He then gets the Cyclops a lot of wine so he falls asleep, then he sharpens a log and stabs the Cyclops eye. After he wakes up he lets out his animals and they all make it out due to the Cyclops not being able to see them. This is why Odysseus is a great leader.
