Why is our nation in moral decay?
Are there no examples today?

None to lead us aright, none to make our paths bright,
And no one to guide us with a heavenly light?
Why is our nation going all wrong?
Is exposing of sin not ever so strong?
Sin in the church and sin in the home.
Is the preaching too soft, or is it all gone?
Why, in our nation, no evidence of power?
Has it really come down to our last, final hour?
Can we feel one more breeze down fron Heaven through the trees,
Must this land once so strong hear from over the seas?
Why has our nation no experience with God,
As the men who of old traevlled over the sod?
May we one minite take, To earnest prayer make,
And reclaim our great nation for Jesus sake!
