Prompt for today was "write about writing poetry"
I write poetry
that my critics refer to
as chopped up prose
and those who don’t
like politics don’t like,
although I’ve been known
to craft occasional verses
about heart, flowers, and rainbows.
Although that’s by no means
the fortay of this poetic peripatetic.
