Will you…

Remember me dear

When I was strong,

Do not forget when

I wasn’t at all wrong.

All out in this haunting

Lonely wilderness,

Imagine its’ eerie

Silence and stillness

Where man and beast are alike,

Lightening does rarely strike.

Remember me when at night,

I take away the only and last flight.

You will then remember,

 What I wanted from you.

All that I wanted

Was just a small task

Now does it now weigh?

That heavy,

This is all I ask?

When the bells have finally tolled,

I ‘m since for ever gone,

How much will you yearn to see?

Please do say now

Whether you still love me
