The question, "Will you be the one?" is quite common. Nearly everyone in a relationship wants to know if they are finally with the person whom they will be spending their whole life with.

As blankets of water flow

Along the river banks

These eyes of mine will see

Those eyes of yours

Shining bright as day

Still hides this mystery

As dewdrops form

And glisten like diamonds

This mind of mine will know

The feelings will rush

In heart and soul

And all things will aglow

But as night strikes

Dimness sinks in

This heart of mine will ask

Will feelings remain?

Will you be the one?

Is this the love to last?

A good question to ask one’s self. You can always put that question to the test. :-)

    @sanataryal: Hello! Thanks, sanataryal.

@Brewed: Hi, Brewed! I know. It’s a question I ask myself, and – you may say – I’m sort of waiting for the results. :)

I can only wish for a favorable answer to your question. The right balance between what your heart and mind says is the perfect answer. At least, it worked for me. :)

Don’t rely much on the emotion or it can lead you to the wrong path. Likha is right, answer it both with heart and mind. :)
