I love you he said with all my heart,

you are all I ever wanted for a wife.

I know we have been married forever,

but would you like to renew the vows?

You have to buy a new dress to wear,

your old one doesn’t fit you no more.

No you aren’t as thin as you once was,

but it hasn’t changed my love for you.

My tuxedo doesn’t fit as well either,

I once was thin but now am round.

But you look at me  like you did then,

We cant get married at the church,

it burned down twenty five years ago.

But a beautiful church took its place,

maybe we can get married in that one.

Our daughter said she has a big house,

sitting on a lake with a huge back yard.

She said if we waited until its warmer,

me and you can have our reception there.

Instead of Niagara Falls for a honeymoon,

lets just go up to our cabin in the mountains.

Spend a week holding hands and walking,

maybe sneak in a little bit of love making.

Then its back to life and all its headaches,

but its fine since we have the other to hold.
