Poem:
Whenever I see a window
open to light and air,
And how amenable it is
to elements we share,
I think of certain principles
of virtue nonetheless,
Directed toward windows
of souls that we possess.
True, gratifying openness
remain assured when we
Look through an open window
to watch things moving free,
And take delight in sceneries
that Nature must portray,
Upon which our hearts are set
to cherish everyday,
Which prompts me to reflect upon
the need to open, too,
Built-in windows of our souls
to let good feelings through.
